Crafted from the finest vegetable-tanned leather, each jacket is made to order in your choice of cowhide or horsehide. Tanned using traditional methods, the leather begins firm and structured, then gradually breaks in with wear, developing rich patina, natural creases, and deep character over time.
For main closures and pockets, the jacket is fitted with Waldes zippers, valued for their smooth pull, solid weight, and period-correct design. Built to age alongside the leather, Waldes hardware delivers long-term durability while preserving authentic vintage aesthetics.
The belt loop is secured with a solid brass snap button by Hasi Hato, chosen for its strong hold and precise Japanese craftsmanship. This small but essential detail adds functionality while allowing easy adjustment, and the brass finish will naturally darken and wear, enhancing the jacket’s overall character.
